Michael and Craig had owned this house for some years as a rental while they decided what their long-term plans for it were. And it was a cute house, but it needed new life.

When we came on the scene, they were ready to clean it all up and recoup the sq ft that was just waiting in the basement.

We touched every part of their home from top to bottom. All the bathrooms got modernized and finished with very tasteful period accents. Floors refinished. All the plaster walls and ceilings were gone through and repaired and made anew. The fireplace was one center piece of this project. Michael and Craig picked out a very unique and tasteful mosaic from Portland’s own Pratt & Larson that really pulls in a Pacific Northwest Vibe, they also let us add tape light accents! Which really makes it stand out in the room.

We came back after the bulk of the work for a kitchen buff that was the cherry on top of this Portland bungalow. What is going to stand out to you when you look through the pictures of this house, and what you perceive even more in person, is how alive this home is now. Homes are living organisms; circulatory, nerve, respiratory system. This home was a standing structure, true enough, but it was not thriving. Craig and Michael breathed new life into her, and she is ready to take care of them for as long as they want to stay!
